Day 1 – Delhi

On arrival meet and greet by representative at the airport and transfer to the Hotel.

Day 2 – Delhi - Amritsar

0645 Pick up and Transfer to Railway Station
0720 Depart to Amritsar ( By Swarna Shatabdi Express Train) 1305 Arrival and Transfer to Hotel.
Amritsar is in Punjab state in Northern India and is the spiritual capital of the Sikh religion. The City was founded by Ram Das, the fourth guru, on land given by Akbar in 1577.Amritsar is the Administrative Centre and a trade cum industrial city where carpets, fabrics of goat hair, and handicrafts are made. It lies on the main GT road from Chandigarh to Jalandhar to Amritsar to Lahore, Pakistan. Lahore, which was the historic capital of the pre-partition Punjab is about 50 Km west of Amritsar.

Day 3 – Amritsar

0900 Hrs Amritsar has many claims to fame. It is the holy city of the Sikhs, very intimately connected with the colourful history of the proud, martial race. It is also a showpiece of the prosperity and wealth of the state of Punjab. It also holds strategic importance due to its close proximity to Pakistan, the Attari Wagha Indo-Pak border being just about 30 km away. The important place to visit in Amritsar is Golden Temple, the holy Sikh shrine. Jallianwala Bagh, also very near to the Golden temple is an important monument dedicated to hundreds of martyrs who lost their lives in a massacre on April 13, 1919 A.D. Day 4 – Amritsar - Dalhousie

0900 Hrs Drive to Dalhousie , nestling in the outer slopes of Dhaulandhar range, is a excellence hill station. It is known for its bracing climate and picturesque scenery.

Day 5 –Dalhousie – Dharamshala
0830 Hrs Breakfast.
0900 Hrs Drive to Dharamshala, which stands on a spur of the Dhauladhar range amidst magnificent deodar and pine forests, tea gardens and beautiful hills. It is also known as 'The Lhasa in India'. The revered Dalai Lama has set up his home in this beautiful range. Free at Leisure

Day 6 – Dharamshala
0830 Hrs Breakfast Full day to explore the surrounding places.
MC leodganj (10 kms); Tibetan Medical & Astro Institute; Bhagsunath (11 kms); St. John's Church (8 kms); Kunal Pathri (3 kms); War Memorial (2 kms).

Day 7 – Chandigarh

0900 Drive to Chandigarh.
Chandigarh arrival and transfer to hotel. Day at leisure.

Day 9 – Delhi

Full day city tour
Starting from panoramic view of The India Gate and The President House, proceeding to – The Qutub Minar a Historical building which was built hundreds of years ago which is an excellent example of Afghan architecture; the Minar is 72.5 Mts. high with 7 stories, it is the tallest freestanding structure in India.The Lotus Temple – Bahai house of worship built in 1986,which is a latest addition in the treasure trove of Delhi. Shaped in the form of a blossoming Lotus is a poetical expression of architect's ideas in Marble.

After Lunch (by own account), a visit to The Humayun's Tomb, which is a Grand mausoleum built for the emperor by his senior queen, this is one of the first Mughal Garden Tomb and said to be the inspiration of Taj Mahal. The Humayun's Tomb is a World Heritage Monument. Rajghat – A place where Mahatama Gandhi (The father of the Nation) was cremated and a memorial for Mahatma Gandhi was built thereafter. Red Fort – Mughal Emperor Shahjehan built the massive construction of red sandstone (Note: Sunday it is closed), Enjoy the Pedestrian Rickshaw Ride in Chandani Chowlk Market., Also visit the mosque nearby the fort better known as Jama Masjid is the largest mosque in India built by Shahjehan (The Mughal Empror) in 1656. On the way back to the hotel a visit to Connaught Place market, which is there in Central Delhi.
